Board of Directors Daniel Weintraub Board Chairperson Daniel Weintraub is a partner in the CPA firm of Lougen, Valenti, Bookbinder & Weintraub, LLP. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he serves on the Committee for Cooperation with the Erie County Bar Association, and a member of the Construction Exchange of Buffalo and Western New York. This is Weintraub’s ninth year on the Board. Kevin P. Wicka Vice Chairperson Kevin P. Wicka is currently with the Tarantino Law Firm as a litigator and has almost 20 years of experience in employment law. He is a past Chair of the Labor Law Committee for the Bar Association of Erie County, and is often called on by the media for his input and viewpoints. Mr. Wicka will also share his expertise in the areas of discrimination legislation and employee matters gained from counseling clients, leading training seminars and developing materials and documents for Human Resources clients. This is his fifth year on the Board. Rebecca Boyle Secretary Rebecca Boyle is the Director of Training, Human Resources at HealthNow New Yrok, Inc. She is a member of ASTD, CUPA-HR and SHRM, past President of Niagara Frontier Chapter ASTD, past National Advisor for Chapters ASTD, Adjunct Faculty Canisius College, and member of William Smith College Alumni Advisory Board and a member of the Orchard Park Chorale. This is Boyle’s ninth year on the Board. Shari Cook Treasurer Shari Cook holds an M.S. Degree in Human Services and provides the Board with more than 30 years of experience with the Erie County Department of Social Services as well as personal experience as a parent advocate. This is Cook’s seventh year on the Board. Herbert L. Bellamy Jr. Board Member Herbert Bellamy is the CEO of Bellamy Enterprises and Buffalo’s Black Achievers, Inc. He joins the Board with over 20 years of experience as an insurance broker and financial planner. Bellamy is also Chairman of the Board for the Buffalo Sewer Authority and has received numerous professional, civic and community organization awards. This is his first year on the Board. Kathy Collado Board Member Kathy Collado is a member of the Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled’s L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Self Advocacy Group. L.E.A.D.E.R.S stands for Listen, Equality, Advocacy, Determination, Equal, Rights and Supports. The members of this group are focused on activities that promote inclusion and increase self-empowerment. This is Collado’s ninth year on the Board. Susan Emhof Board Member Susan Emhof is a Certified Compliance Professional. Past Board member of the American Lung Association, St. Gregory the Great Religious Education Program and volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America. This is Emhof’s eleventh year on the Board. David Kraus Board Member David Kraus joins the Board with 20+ years of accounting and finance experience in both private and public institutions. Kraus is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Buffalo Peacemakers, a member of the Corporate Compliance Committee, and Finance and Audit Committee for Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled. Kraus is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, and certified in Investment Performance Measurement. This is his third year on the Board. Bradford M. La Salle Board Member Bradford La Salle serves as vice president of Archipel Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm in Buffalo. Mr. La Salle is also the CEO of EvincoR, a newly formed biopharmaceutical, which is developing an antibiotic targeting highly resistant infections. This is his sixth year on the board. Michael Rivera Board Member Michael Rivera is retired from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was a Senior Associate in the office of Career Planning and Placement and President of the Erie Regional Housing Corp – Belle Center and a Board Member of WNED – TV. This is Rivera’s seventeenth year on Board. Rajat Singhal Board Member Rajat Singhal is Vice President at Citigroup Global Markets and Former General Secretary of the India Association of Buffalo; he is also active with the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. This is Singhal’s fifth year on the Board. Herman Tate Board Member Herman Tate is on the Board of Directors for the Literacy Volunteers, and is also a Member of Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled Inc.’s Self Advocacy Group (L.E.A.D.E.R.S.). This is Tate’s fourteenth year on the Board. Mindy Cervoni Ex-Officio Board Member Mindy Cervoni is the President and CEO of Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled, Inc. Mindy Cervoni sits on several boards including the DDAWNY Board of Directors. She is a member of the Workforce Readiness Committee through Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association (BNHRA) since 2007, Board member of Community Services Housing Corporations, and an Advisory Board member for the West Seneca Schools Academy of Digital Media. This is Cervoni’s third year on the Board.
